Pair of sterling silver textured square cufflinks with carved detail depicting the Ogham letter B.
Ogham is an Irish alphabet from 400 AD. The Ogham letter B represents the Birch tree. It takes the form of a line carved in stone at right angles to a perpendicular. Birch symbolises Aongus the Celtic god of love as well as birth, purity and protection.
Cufflinks are 14mm square with mechanical fittings.
Hallmarked in Dublin.

While studying in NCAD, Dublin I was introduced to metals as a medium for expression. Marrying a childhood curiosity around culture to this material was fascinating to me.
